Acensbart Excellent but underrated film

Invaderbank The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

Candida It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.

Claudio Carvalho During a storm, a gargoyle falls off a church over a priest, killing him. On the next day, the scientist Vladimir Spratz (Ron Lea) finds a piece of the gargoyle and brings it to his laboratory. Meanwhile, the sexton of the church (Tom Rack) looks for the scientist's girlfriend, the artist Flora (Catherine Colvey) asking her to restore the broken piece. Vladimir makes a genetic discover and many persons begin to die in the city. This low movie is very weird and has a confused screenplay. There are some interesting parts, the pronunciation of the cast is very clear, but something is missing to say that it is a good movie. Anyway, it had the quality of keeping me hooked on the screen until the last disappointing scene. My vote is five.Title (Brazil): `O Poder Das Trevas' (`The Power of the Darkness')
