Fake Audience Reviews

Hellen I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
Nayan Gough A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
Kien Navarro Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
Lela The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.
invisibleunicornninja I'd recommend watching this movie. I watched it, and I was entertained. Animation - The art in this movie is pretty good, along with the direction. The character and camera movements are very fluid. Story & Characters - For the most part this movie makes sense. The characters are well-developed (well the adults are, I have more than a few questions regarding those kids) and interesting. The mystery isn't very complex, but with the romance sub-plot and only 1 hour to develop everything, its pretty good. Regarding the romance sub-plot, the two leads have chemistry, and their romance is believable and fun to watch. Sound - On the DVD I watched this movie, you could only watch it with English sub & dub. As I don't speak or read Japanese, I had to watch the English audio. It ok. Not great, but decent.Additional - There are some scenes in here with mild sexual assault and while its not very extreme, it is uncomfortable.
Irishchatter Your jaws would be hurt when you watched this movie. It really is brilliant with the character Dee acting the maggot involving such great jokes that make you laugh and admire his affection to Ryo because them two are such a great dectective couple.I really felt sad with the backstory of where they were vacating together in England. The old man's daughter being killed by Japanese tourists and then suddenly he snaps by killing the two girls who were checked in at the same time as Ryo and Dee. He badly wanted to kill Ryo but thankfully Dee his lover saves the day and sends him to jail!I'm really tempted to read the manga after this, I give this movie 8/10 rating including its music!
jessica leser This is a truly sweet shonan-ai anime. In New York City, Dee Laytner is a tough cop that does not have a problem expressing his feelings. His partner, Randy (Ryo) MacClean, is an introverted guy who is confused about Dee's feelings towards him, as well as his own feelings towards Dee. When these two decide to go on vacation together in the English countryside, Dee thinks its a great time to put the moves on his pouty partner. But their quite weekend together is interrupted by a serial killer out to get anyone who is Japanese. Most unfortunate for Ryo, who's mother just happened to be Japanese. Will Dee be able to save his partner and "get to the next level" with him as well? Throw in a pick-pocket named Carol and Ryo's ward Bikky (who is homophobic)and you get laughs, action, and romance. WHY I LIKED IT: The Japanese voice acting is great (ecspecially tomokazu seki as Dee) and the US dub isn't too bad either. The story is sweet and fun, and the romance is the same. This is rated 13 & up so there is just kissing. WHY I DID NOT LIKE IT: The manga is available by Tokyopop in the US. The manga goes deeper into the emotional relationship of Ryo and Dee. It also explains where Bikky and Carol came from. The manga is 16 & up and there is more language. The last volume (7 in all) is rated 18 & up for two sex scenes. If your into shonan-ai, check this anime out, but try to pick up the manga too, its well worth it!
