Geraldine The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

Scarlet The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

OBXconsumer I had to give this a 1? Is more like -10. Unfortunately, I am not given that choice. After watching this and grimacing thru the whole thing, even talking to myself during the movie - "What?" - "I don't get it" - "Are you going to remember how your sister died and have an epiphany?" - "Was this actually a porn movie and when they censored out all of the porn for PopFlix, all the stuff that made sense was cut out too?" None of the scenes fit together - None of the characters were mentally stable, plus were unattractive to boot which makes you want to totally escape never to return to the movie again. Alas, my curiosity was never satisfied as far as what this had to do with the Green River Killer or the girl's missing sister and I did not get the end at ALL because it was just some random stupid ending. It was free to watch so, other than a waste of my life, it was nothing ventured and not much lost. Thumbs down! I have to admit, I came to this site just to see if I had missed something - if maybe there WAS a plot or closure, but - nope. Do yourself a favor and don't let them steal your money. For real, I think any one of us could have written and directed it better. I really would like to discuss the end with someone, but not allowed to do so here.

Jennifer Loke I was perusing Netflix while my mom was visiting, she loves made for TV dramas and "based on true events" flicks, we do not have this in common. She was nagging me to find something she would like, and I happened upon this movie. I thought it would be about Gary Ridgway, the Green River killer, but it was not, sadly. This movie was so terrible that even my mom hated it. 1) Is there a plot? It didn't exactly seem so. It was just nonsensical, poorly executed dribble for 90 minutes. 2) the acting is horrible...especially the acting by Kristina Hughs (as Allison). WTF? She somehow made soap opera actors look like amazing award-winning actors. Her whole performance is just...bad...and awkward, but mostly BAD. What's with Allison's interrogation of Jack? It's hyper-dramatic and sexualized and unnecessary, or Charisma's wounded animal scenes while trying to get back to the cabin? The only half decent actor was Jack (Bruce Peterson). 3) There is no suspense to this movie, it's just slow, uneventful, and somewhat baffling. 4) The dialogue was horrible, everything seemed forced and over dramatic. 5) The ending is the only surprise to this waste of time that somehow passes as a movie. It happens kind of fast, isn't really explained, and just so you don't feel you just wasted 90 minutes of your life, you may re-watch it to understand it.I really want the 90 minutes of my life back.

It really did not have a plot.The beginning of the movie was way too long in the car.It didn't really explain in the first place why the girls were going to this town.Where did the whole taking the man hostage come in to play?Why wouldn't Jack introduce himself to the girls in the first place?Why wouldn't the girls do the same?It never explained why Allison was the way she was.When Allison talked to her mom that made no sense.When Charisma talked to Allisons mom we should have been given more insight into why Allison was the way she was. Why did Jack survive and the two girls go missing? The movie really didn't explain itself very well and I would not recommend anyone watch it unless you want to be confused throughout the whole movie.

stevent444 I saw Green River over the weekend. One of my nieces had ordered it and it came in the mail.I'll admit I actually watched it twice over the weekend and I saw more the second time seeing it than I did the first especially the lurker Walker. Before returning it, I wanted to look up the actresses and the film online to see what else they have been in. Director Taybi I thank you for this compelling film.There are some great moves and shadows that Green River showed that did make it interesting, to some it might seem weird. I liked the location and seeing these two deep in the woods with that red car. I might have liked to learn more about the friends and the sister Grace story. I got some of that on the mountain. I did like Green River, I was entertained and heck I'm no spring chicken I was shocked at what Allison did. I don't want to spoil it but the other men here at my house believed Allison was out of her mind in more ways than we've seen on screen in a long time and usually with mean men so this was a twist from a girl in a convertible. I have seen people like her unravel, but not to that powerful intensity.The other actors, The local Green River people were natural. I believed that I would see them on that winding road if I had the guts to travel to Green River. Allison's friend was Charisma very sweet, I felt bad she had no parents, no sister and had to bring Allison with her. I thought Allison was going to get her in the woods too. There's a lot of violence you don't see in the end but you feel and I know my wife was cringing at that and the noises in the cabin. But We had a good laugh at that the next day and talked about the ending after I saw it the second time. If you don't pay attention here you might miss a lot like the shoveling. (Don't want to write too much more I was told people go here before renting) so just have fun, pay attention to the subtle things and be careful in Green River.
