Headhunters Audience Reviews

ThiefHott Too much of everything
Acensbart Excellent but underrated film
Jonah Abbott There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.
Tayyab Torres Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.
NikkoFranco Skandikrimi ( abb.Scandinavian criminal ) genre may not offer as much titles or shows as their Hollywood counterparts , but when they do it will grip you. There is something truly terrifying watching a film with a language not your own, but with the ingenous help of subtitles, the viewer is able to follow the story without blinking for a second. The main character is played by Aksel Hennie, whom I have seen in smaller productions and is a truly gifted actor. There are shots that he will remind you of Steve Buscemi, another underrated character actor. But the tempo of this film goes from office gloss to adrenaline-packed brutality. Some scenes will make you want to check their animal welfare credits, as it is realistic painful-looking, also bloody brutal but well-presented. Knock on wood that it would not be remade. Leave this film as is.
Pjtaylor-96-138044 While 'Headhunters (2011)' isn't all that memorable and ends on a fairly cheesy, tonally inconsistent upbeat note that totally disregards the chaotic violence that came just moments before, there's no denying that this is a tense and compelling thriller that keeps its audience firmly in the shoes of its protagonist and treats them as smart individuals. It's a film which relishes in the confusion caused by its rampant and side-swiping brutality triggered by an almost instant switch in mood and perhaps even genre, a move that would be nothing other than jarring in a lesser film but is here pulled off impeccably. It is true that the plot doesn't pull itself together quite as tightly as it should, with several strands either somewhat loose or left dangling freely altogether, and it's fairly convoluted to the point of corporate espionage and conspiracy that muddies the motivations of certain individuals, but the feature did manage to pull the wool over my eyes and tug the rug from under my feet successfully a couple of times and, in general, it is very clever, witty and unconventional with a tone that balances levity with seriousness in equal measure. It's entertaining and enthralling. 8/10
TeaDranker For this review, I am just going to enjoy myself pointing out all the "stupids" in the movie, however I still give it a 6 because it was intriguing enough to keep me watching till the end, and the acting was pretty good.1. How does murdering Roger solve the problem for Clas? Roger already tainted Clas's reputation with the hiring company, meaning he probably won't get the job anyways. In fact, Roger should have been the one trying to murder Clas for banging his wife.2. For the sake of argument, let's say Roger has to die. Why the hell would you do it yourself?? The first thing police will look for is motive... One would think someone in Clas's position would have an elite squad of Navy Seal Ninjas ready to do the job for him.3. How come when Roger murders his friend Ove, it wasn't detected on the camera? He was standing in roughly the same spot that Clas was standing in during the ending sequence. I don't know if it was the surveillance guards or the director, but someone had to be on drugs.4. At one point Clas tries to attack Roger, with a stone. Roger has a gun. Enough said.5. IF submerging yourself in poo blocks the tracking signal, wouldn't coming out of the poo instantly reactivate the signal? Honestly I don't think that's how tracking signals work anyways. But personally, I think the best thing ever would have been if he just got murdered in the poo, and no one ever found his body again :) 6. Why kill the farmer unless you have to? That's just more potential consequences down the road. If little Sally was selling Girl Guide Cookies, would she have to be eliminated as well? 7. Why did Clas stop following his dog, which allowed for that ridiculous Mortal Kombat Fatality on the tractor? I guess Clas could have been taking a dump in the outhouse... so I can forgive this one.8. Okay, fine, I will accept Roger surviving the car falling off the cliff scene, only because he was cushioned between two fat guys, but then how does Clas make it down the cliff so quickly to come check on him? Also, if you walked all that way, why not make sure he's dead with a bullet to the brain? And why even bother checking on him? Who the hell is supposed to survive something like that...9. How does Rogers wife know anything about guns, including the exact kind of bullets to buy for the gun, where Clas would keep the gun, or how to load the gun? The only gun she looks like she knows how to handle is under the bed sheets.10. The ending. My suggestion: Watch this movie, laugh, and then don't think about it again.
Ajeesh Vijayan Happened to see this Norwegian thriller couple of days ago and was very much impressed mainly because of the story, development, thrills and execution. Headhunters is based on the novel written by Jo Nesbo.Roger which tells the story of a Recruiter in Norway. He lives a luxurious life and to maintain the same, he used to steal the paintings and is very professional in that. His life goes upside down when he tries to steal a painting from his wife's friend's house. There it starts the thriller with convincing twists and turns. The major advantage of the movie is the story and screenplay with excellent performances of the antagonist and protagonist. The movie has its own moments and will give you definitely offers a treat to the thriller movie fans. An edge of the seat thriller. The background score did a crucial role in the whole one which made very interesting. All the supporting actors did a wonderful job to make this a nice one.Go for it..!!! You wont feel bad after watching this..My rating 8.1 on 10
