Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai Audience Reviews

AniInterview Sorry, this movie sucks
CommentsXp Best movie ever!
ChicRawIdol A brilliant film that helped define a genre
Abbigail Bush what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
Gypsi Bates Suraj (Salman Khan) is a rich playboy who goes from woman to woman. When he meets Komal (Twinkle Khanna), he falls in love for the first time. Just as he has finally convinced her of his sincerity, his past returns in a very tangible way and threatens to ruin his happiness. The plot is mostly excellent, beginning as a romantic comedy and turning into a serious drama. Khan acts his part well, first as playboy, then as reformed man. He is supported by a talented cast; Aditya Narayan was especially good.Twinkle Khanna was not particularly convincing as Komal, nor was the part written well, as Komal was not entirely likable. This detracted from an otherwise great movie.
zain raza One Of The Best Movies in my life, Great songs, Great story, Wonderful comedy (especially the old man jokes) great drama. An excellent film in all aspects, acting was great by each and every person in the movie, especially the little boy. The songs were also excellent especially the song "Chal Pyaar Karegi" was good. Johney Lever did a great acting as a hypochondriac (people who are obsessed with medicines). The dialogs were great. The movie had almost all genres one could expect to watch. The acting by Salman Khan was wonderful as well as great acting by Anupam Kher as his grandfather. The movie is shot in beautiful locations and the screenplay is also well done. Its one of the movies that are made once in a lifetime, So hats off to the writer and the director of the movie. Well Done!
sseven-1 Deepak Sareen has indeed come up with a great fare.A musical with a good plot having it's moments of fun as well. The story is realistic and one that everyone can easily relate to.The subject has been treated well by the director. Story, screenplay (Honey Irani) stands out.The songs O jaana , 'Chal pyar karegi',' Pehli pehli baar','is dil mein kya hain' are good Johnny Lever's scenes are terrific.Makes you laugh, indeed. There are other good scene's that make you smile involving Salman, his son and Twinkle The story is really nice.It is indeed a must watch, and does have repeat(viewing) value. All the actors Salman,Anupam Kher,Twinkle,Lever, the child artist(Aditya) are first rate. It's a light hearted, but strong movie with good music and also good performances.
Dave Abbott Perhaps, had I not been a social worker or recently seen much better films such as Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, and Pardes, I might have enjoyed JPKHH better.I felt that there were several areas that did not ring true with either Salman Khan's character or the storyline and those areas were so blatant that they had a jarring effect. I especially did not like a scene where a child popped an adult's pill used to comic effect. Johnny Lever's pill popping was totally unnecessary to the entire film and dragged it to a lower level.I would still have to give this film a 7/10 because the acting was very good, the story was OK and had a few logical surprises, and the sets, scenery and songs were all fine. I just feel that, with a little fine tuning, JPKHH could have been a much better film.
