Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back Audience Reviews

UnowPriceless hyped garbage
Intcatinfo A Masterpiece!
SpunkySelfTwitter It’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.
Jonah Abbott There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.
Yaroslav Urbanevich Best film ever! I want to see it again and again and again
Smoreni Zmaj Kevin Smith is genius and this is masterpiece. Comedy that tells original story by spoofing or/and paying homage to cult movies in almost every scene. To understand this movie completely it is recommended that you saw really big amount of movies, including all previous Kevin Smith flicks. I saw this one countless times and every time I discover some new jokes, because in the meantime I saw more movies it refers to. Sarcastic, full of vulgar and dark humor, but intelligent, cheerful, hilarious and romantic. You'll see army of celebrities, music is great, and even opening and end credits are worth watching carefully, cause there's bunch of jokes hidden in even smallest details. Low average rating means only that most of viewers did not pay enough attention or they don't have enough pre- knowledge to be able to understand it fully. It looks like just another silly comedy, but it's complex and has its depth and meaning.10/10Actors and cameo: Jason Mewes, Kevin Smith, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Jeff Anderson, Brian O'Halloran, Will Ferrell, Jason Lee, George Carlin, Carrie Fisher, Chris Rock, Wes Craven, Shannen Doherty, Mark Hamill, Joey Lauren Adams, Alanis Morissette, Morris Day, James Van Der Beek, Jason Biggs, Shannon Elizabeth, Eliza Dushku i many others.References and spoofs (36 I noticed so far, but I suppose there's at least that many more I didn't spot just yet): 1945. Detour 1946. The Blue Dahlia 1960. Psycho 1966. Batman 1968. Planet of the Apes 1969. Scooby-Doo 1969. The Brady Bunch 1977. Star Wars IV 1980. Star Wars V 1980. The Blues Brothers 1982. E.T. 1983. Star Wars VI 1984. Purple Rain 1990. Pretty Woman 1992. Reservoir Dogs 1993. The X-Files 1994. Pulp Fiction 1994. The Shawshank Redemption 1994. Clerks 1995. Mallrats 1996. Scream 1997. Ilikehorrormovies Most spin-off don't do well like Elektra (2005) that bomb on the box office and negative reviews but this movie is really good like their positive reviews and it didn't bomb in the box office I think. If you like Clerks (1994) and/or Clerks II (2006) then you'll like or love this movie. This movie is very enjoyable like I could watch this 100 times if I want to but it could be boring if you watch a movie 100 times anyways. Good movie I recommend it.
Leon Erbe A great thing, which is the reason it strongly differs from 'Clerks 1 & 2' (and yes, I am well aware they are not in the same franchise, but I like to compare them since Jay and Silent Bob originated from there), that you get to see much more locations. The story is a little more complex as well - especially compared to the first 'Clerks' movie.Do not get me wrong; I like this movie. Just, I think all these stoner references are not my cup of tea, as I am a straight edge guy. Though, the rest of the jokes made me laugh quite a lot.If you have enjoyed 'Clerks', you will love it! Not the best movie out there, but definitely funny.
