London Paris New York is a film that captures the angst of the twenties, the most dramatic period of one's life - when you have to find a career, you have your first significant relationship and most importantly form your identity in this world. This is story about Lalitha, a middle class south Indian girl from Chembur (an eastern suburb in Mumbai) who is on her way to New York to study politics with full scholarship, and Nikhil, a Punjabi, rich kid from Bandra (a posh western suburb of Mumbai) who is going to study Film Making in London on 100% dad's money. They decide to hangout together one evening in London and find that they are completely drawn to each other even as their future lies on separate continents. The film follows their personal journey and their love story as they meet in London, Paris and New York for a night each over eight years. The film is in three chapters and each chapter is shot in a manner that mirrors the mental state of Nikhil and Lalitha.

London, Paris, New York Audience Reviews

Fluentiama Perfect cast and a good story
Stoutor It's not great by any means, but it's a pretty good movie that didn't leave me filled with regret for investing time in it.
Sameer Callahan It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.
Bob This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
S Rao The story line is quite straightforward as the title suggests. Boy meets girl in 3 different cities & falls in love with her. But the way it has been done is really enjoyable. They spend a night in each of the 3 cities at different phases of their life and makes them realize their love for each other. Some of the dialogues are R-rated but other than that it is a very watchable movie. There aren't many songs which is a good thing.Ali Zafar is turning out to be a really good actor and Aditi Rao is perfect for this role. Both Ali Zafar & Adi Rao have done a fantastic job of looking the part over the period of time. Dalip Tahil has a nice cameo at the end.
nazmobile When the promotions for this movie were out I was intrigued to watch it, more so because of Ali Zaffar, but then never got round to it thinking perhaps it wasn't as good as it looked.Having now finally taken the time to watch it whilst showing on TV I have to admit that it was a big mistake to not catch it sooner. This film is a great example of bollywood being able to tell a story in a much more contemporary and relatable manner as opposed to the commercial gloss manner that most romcom's are shown in Bollywood.Having said that I wouldn't say this is an out and out romcom, it's more of a modern take on romance and covers a span of time between two people and their encounters with each other and how life has affected them over time. Some may feel it's similar to 500 days or Summer or the two Before Sunrise/Before Sunset. Whether this movie is inspired by those films or is the equivalent to them I thought it was a worth effort and enjoyed watching it.It is beautifully told and wonderfully acted by the two leads, you feel for both of them and at times relate with their emotions and issues. This is definitely worth a watch if you want to see something which is somewhat intelligent and offers something different.I won't say it's perfect as there are parts in the beginning which are a little cheesy and the characters take some time to settle in but once it gets going it's a wonderful ride.Paris & New York are the better sections, Paris probably being the most dramatic. This film deserves a lot more recognition and lets hope the Indian film industry show it some appreciation. As for everyone else, if you truly enjoy good cinema be it Hollywood or bollywood then watch this, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Saad Khan London Paris New York - Trash It (C+) A boy meets girl and fall in love in one day and they meet for only one day in span of 5 to 6 years in London, Paris & New York. In today's digital world it's hard to image that they don't keep in touch with each other just because she said so... The script is flawed from beginning to end The Boy remains almost the same but the Girl from Naive in London, Evil in Paris and then turned into Nicest in New York. There are moments which are really good but bad music & tedious pace of the movie makes it really boring to sit through. Ali Zafar is a charmer but not that great of an actor he made me bore. Aditi Rao is great in portraying three different shades of her character though sadly there is not much thought about it she falls in love takes revenge and then forgives easily. Anyways if you want to watch it, you can watch for Ali Zafar & Aditi's chemistry but its tedious overall.
anikbansal1 Brilliant! Brilliant! Brilliant! Cannot believe that such a movie could be made in Hindi cinema.Complete Kudos to the screenplay, director, actors and the whole team for producing such a brilliant movie. It would be a mistake according to me not to support such movies. Reality is it is a sensible movie which talks to all walks of life. The balance between reality and humor has been taken care off in the most spectacular manner; never making the audience feel small, blamed or negative. The characters are very real and they do make a lot of sense.Once again awesome job to the rang London Paris New York Team .
