Z_rif Pontianak ( vampire ) in this movie actually very difference from in the first movie.The make-up in the first movie rip-off from the Ju-On 2(japanase).Her face blue like Ju-on and sometimes her face turn to white face.In Pontianak Harum Sundal Malam 2 (Vampire Scent of The Tuber Rose II),her face also white.But,they add make-up for her lips.Her lips very dark and black.This is one difference thing from the first movie. Her hair also become more black.I think if Shuhaimi Baba add some make-up to her vampire,like sharp teeth,the vampire become more a true vampire.And I very amazing about fight scene and flying scene !

shamsher_ul_haq I watched Thai horror flick "Shutter" some time ago and I can say that it is really a scary movie ! Unfortunately, I cannot say the same to our Malaysian film, "Pontianak Harum Sundal Malam 2" (PHSM2). In fact, this film is so awful that I simply regret watching it.Nothing seems to work for this film. The pontianak (vampire) looks like a Chinese Opera singer. The way she flies is so artificial, nothing like the vampire in "Jeepers Creepers". In fact, the pontianak will also be shown climbing tree in the film. One question, why the pontianak needs to climb the tree when she can just fly ? The background music does not suit the film. The performance of the actors are slow and boring.Not recommended !

Fahamib1 After see this film,I go to buy the Pontianak Harum Sundal Malam DVD from Malaysia to make me understand this story.Pontianak Harum Sundal Malam 2 aka Vampire Scent Of Tuber Rose actually is a sequel for first film.This film have many elements use in this film.The power of 'Kuda Kepang'( in Malay ) can fight the vampire spirit.This film have a nice cinematography,With shock twist ending,very real flying scene,amazing music and the acting Maya Karin is very good.She also plays three character.This film is not waste your money to watch it,but It can make a amazing ghost character and better than Samara,Kayako( Ju-on ),Shutter and many type Asian ghost in many horror film.I watch this film on VCD at 4 times and very not boring.

Intan_Rosmira I have seen this movie.This very amazing horror film from Asian 1.The vampire very creepy.We can see her cry with blood from her eyes.2.Amazing flying scene.We have flying vampire.Wow,very real made.3.Nice effect and music.The music in this film too suspense.5.We got vampire with long black hair.In one scene,the vampire like Ju-On.6.The vampire can get out on every time.Night,afternoon and else.Just watch this film and say what you want to say ..... Better than Ringu,Dark Water (Japan),The Ring,Shutter and any Asian horror film that i have seen all.Overall 9/10
