Ring Master Audience Reviews

TinsHeadline Touches You
Anoushka Slater While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
Zlatica One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
Jakoba True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.
Ashlin Aji The movie was one of-the mega hits of 2014. The highlight actor of the movie was Dilip. 60 days of houseful theaters, 10 star reviews etc... The movie was based on a pet dog of Dilip. Then the story continues with comedy, Action and emotion. There was a dogs song which was amazingly edited. There were well trained dogs which acted really well. The movie wasn't boring but non-stop fun. The voice dubbers did a really good job with 5.1 hp sound clarity. We came to know more about dogs by seeing the movie. The message of the film is simple. The director has tried to convey that every dog has the right to live in good conditions.
SouthIndian I'm writing this review just to contradict a review by another friend in IMDb. Before I watched the movie, I happened to go through his negative review and feared if I'm waisting my 2:30hrs to a bad movie. Anyway I decided to give it a try with my family and it turned out to be a good 2:30hrs. It's a good drama filled with comedies and lessons.I didn't find any fault with the acting of Keerthi Suresh as against what I read in my friends negative review. In fact I felt her acting good. Comedy scenes done by Dileep with the supporting cast like Suraj Venjaramood, Kalaabhavan Shajon, etc were excellent. Honey Rose also did good.If you are looking for a nice time with a good laugh session this is definitely a very good choice- not only for kids but for the whole family members. It's definitely a good watch with kids. For kids, the adult references used in the film are tough to catch or to comprehend, so don't worry at all.FINAL VERDICT: Go for it. It's a clean entertainer. You will not regret.
binducherungath Please read this review at http://moviereviewsbybinduc.blogspot.in/2014/05/ring-master.htmlRing Master (റിംഗ് മാസ്റ്റർ) is the first independent directorial venture of Raffi (after Raffi-Mecartin duo splitting). It is the story of a dog trainer Prince (Dileep). The movie begins with a 'pretty long' introduction of cast and crew with animations. Prince is the son of ring master (Vijayaraghavan) with whom he has turbulent relationships. Prince works as an assistant to his friend and a veterinary doctor Dr. Muthu (Kalabhavan Shajan). On Dr. Muthu's request, Prince takes up the responsibility to be the caretaker of dogs at Elizabeth's (Ranjini) house (who is travelling abroad for a few days). Elizabeth has given strict instruction to Prince to ensure that her favourite pet Lisa does not get pregnant. But Lisa gets pregnant with Toby, blind Karthika's guide dog (Karthika's role is essayed by Keerthi Suresh – daughter of Menaka and Suresh). Lisa dies during delivery giving birth to Diana and that is when Prince's life takes a turn. He takes care of Diana like a baby of his own. Elizabeth on her return throws Prince out of the job on learning about Lisa's death. Peter (Aju Varghese), another friend of Prince and Dr.Muthu, a wannabe director wants to make a movie with Diana in the lead and all three of them goes to meet a producer Sravan (Sooraj Venjaramoodu, also an advocate by profession) and chart out the plan to bring out the movie. Meanwhile, the movie also showcases the story of Prince and her ex-flame Sarsamma aka 'Lady' Diana (Honey Rose), daughter of a beggar and who rose to stardom in the glamour world with the unconditional support of Prince. We also get to see the bond between Prince and Karthika evolving.Does the first movie of Peter becomes a hit ? Does the doggie Diana become a star ? What happens when both the Diana (s) come face-to-face? Is Karthika's life smooth in spite of her disability? Whom does Dileep chooses - his ex-flame 'Lady' Diana or the blind Karthika ? Is Raffi trying to project a philosophical message through this movie that ambitions are good but not at the cost of your valuable relationships (who stood with you through your thick and thin) ? Can relationships once broken be mended? Probably children may enjoy certain moments in the movie where pets are shown.
Tejas Nair It wouldn't be wise if I start the review by using the words: clichéd, melodrama, slapstick & illogic. Because, what else can you expect from a film which depends heavily on dogs to tickle our bone?Dileep's last 2-3 films have been utter bores. They were all heavy on farce. This one is no different where he seems to be reprising his role of a dog-lover from the hit CID Moosa. Basically, depicting a rags-to- riches story, Dileep's character first plays a dog caretaker, then a trainer and eventually comes out as a hero. Along with Aju Varghese & Kalabhavan Shajon, Dileep succeeds in creating humor in the first half, which is terribly long. Then, Honey Rose enters the scene as a hot antagonist. Keerti Suresh still needs lots of work to do with her stances, acting & many other factors. Supporting cast is good and they contribute to most of the humor while Dileep acts foolhardy till the end. His acting has lost the panache lately. Everything he did on-screen looked like as if he was bitten by some drunk bug.The story is plain stupid but it showers light upon some causes - love for animals, relationships, etc.. And the plot hops from one scene to another like the characters change sunglasses. It has ridiculous screenplay which aggravates the experience. Many plot points played a dead end and the characters only concentrate on one specific line while many plot lines had been introduced in the first half. The problem also lies at the huge number of characters, which could have been done away without. But I got to appreciate Dileep's & the whole crew's efforts to have sketched up a story about animals and the use of CGI is appreciable, as well.BOTTOM LINE: A more credible story could have made it a mega hit. I wonder how many days it took for the crew to shoot the whole thing. Attention to tiny details would also have strengthened the entertainment factor. However, it is watchable. And if you have kids, have a look. Beware, there are slight adult/vulgar references.
