GazerRise Fantastic!
Motompa Go in cold, and you're likely to emerge with your blood boiling. This has to be seen to be believed.
Keeley Coleman The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;
Sabah Hensley This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama
animeboy-61730 Saw is one of my favorite franchises, lots of disturbing scenes, a bit of gore, saw 2 has lots of good parts and some gore, but this movie is not as good as the first movie but is scarier
Davis P Saw II (2005) is of course the sequel to the famous Saw (2004). This sequel didn't really impress me all that much. I'll start with what I didn't really care for in the movie. One of the negatives about the movie is some of the cast members acting ability. Tobin Bell and Donnie Wahlberg both turn in good performances, but to be honest, the other actors just didn't really sell me on their performances or pull me into it the movie more. Another one of the negatives is that the movie as a whole isn't all that interesting. The first Saw movie is undoubtedly the best in the series, and it surpasses this second installment. To be completely honest, if you watch Saw for the traps, then you probably won't like this one, the jigsaw traps aren't that interesting or creative at all. The characters, except for Detective Matthews (Donnie Wahlberg) and his teenage son, don't have much depth at all, which made me not really care about them very much. The writing is slightly below average. So all in all, Saw II gets a 4/10, just not a very entertaining film. I don't even think fans of the Saw films would enjoy it very much.
Smoreni Zmaj Movie has some really dull moments and its concentrated more on people panicking than on solving new puzzles and that disappointed me a little. At the other hand, it has some advantages to previous one. While in first movie Jigsaw appears just briefly, in second we have a chance to enjoy great performance of Tobin Bell. Twist at the end, that's maybe even better than in prequel, revels to us a puzzle more complex than last year's. Idea on which movie is based is better than one from previous movie, but realization is weaker. Overall, Saw II is somewhat weaker than its prequel, but still within solid eight.8/10
Alex Aragona The first Saw is a decent psychological thriller. It is technically well executed, specifically with the editing and pacing (crucial to horror and thriller). There is good setup, rising action, climax, and then twist conclusion.So, with that in mind, I will say that Saw II is nowhere near the quality of its predecessor. It is good for a casual watch, but there is nothing more at play in this movie other than some "just okay" puzzles and an obvious attempt to top the first Saw in terms of gore and level of danger. But, it tries to hard. The realistic danger of Saw I is what makes the movie. The over the top nature of this one is what ruins it.Watch the first Saw seriously. I mean it. Watch it and pay attention.Then, watch the second saw with some popcorn and a few friends casually.
