Scary Movie 3 Audience Reviews

Moustroll Good movie but grossly overrated
Curapedi I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
FirstWitch A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.
Marva It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,
stellarinteractive I don't say that this movie is something. But it's underrated. It deserves at least 6 out of 10.I can't discuss about sense of humor of other humans, but this kind of humor works for me. It's simple movie, with many funny and enjoyable scenes but it is not the movie that we can take seriously. 6 stars is appropriate rating for this movie but not less or more, from my aspect.Actor performances are pretty good, i was little bit astonished by performance of Kevin Hart and late Leslie Nielsen. They did a very good job and that is their part of the work. What can i say anymore, simple movie, for fun, nothing serious.
Python Hyena Scary Movie 3 (2003): Dir: David Zucker / Cast: Anna Faris, Charlie Sheen, Leslie Nielsen, Denise Richards, Simon Rex: Not as good as Scary Movie yet a tremendous improvement over Scary Movie 2. Strange circles are appearing in a corn field owned by Charlie Sheen that has the media believing that aliens are coming. This is an obvious reference to Signs. His younger brother off competing in the rap wars in a reference to Eight Mile. The premise is different but it regards the usual spoofs of mainstream movies including the ominous figure emerging from the well in The Ring. Directed by David Zucker who previously made one of the worst comedies ever in My Boss's Daughter. Charlie Sheen is well cast as farmer Logan who will have an encounter with an alien molded in the likeness of Michael Jackson. Denise Richards appears as his wife in the fatal accident. This is another reference to Signs but unfortunately there just isn't enough of Richards. Anna Faris returns as Cindy and now she's a newswoman. She investigates and comes away a married woman. Leslie Nielsen plays the United States President who sense conspiracy and he accidentally solves the plot problem in a manner of classic Nielsen. Simon Rex plays Sheen's younger brother who is subjected to brutal prat falls. Vulgar as expected but takes the narrative in a new warped direction. Score: 5 ½ / 10
Rebel_With_A_Cause_94 As far as spoof comedies go, Scary Movie 3 isn't terrible, but it certainly isn't good either. It's a huge improvement over the awful second film in the franchise, but it fails to deliver enough laughs to be able to recommend it.The film delivers a few laughs here and there thanks to a few surprisingly clever jokes and slapstick bit, but it feels like the writers went for too many cheap jokes and slapstick humor. The two main parodies are Signs and The Ring which the film does an alright job of poking fun at, but there is a lot of wasted opportunity in poking fun of these films as well. One of the problems with the last film as that it parodied films that weren't even part of the horror genre and these moments felt rather forced and out of place than funny. This film suffers from that problem as well parodying 8 Mile and The Matrix. Neither of these moments are funny nor clever and feel like a cheap attempt to parody other recent films that were popular at the time of release. This wouldn't be a problem if the film was not suppose to be a spoof of horror films and these moments weren't taking away screen time that could have been used to poke fun at the films part of the actual genre it's suppose to be spoofing. Anna Faris was alright in the lead, but I was really disappointed by how underused Charlie Sheen was.Scary Movie 3 isn't terrible compared to a lot of other spoof movies out there. It does have a couple of funny moments, but the laughs are far in-between a great deal of cheap jokes and tired slapstick humor to be able to recommend it.
YungRapunxel212 One of the better "Scary Movie" films. This movie spoofed other movies such as "The Ring", and "8 Mile." The best scenes are 1. Cindy.. the TV's Leaking and 2. Visiting the Oracle. Me and my friend Madison say a bunch of quotes from this film, such as "Did I tell you to quit drawing," "Cindy.. the TV's leaking," and "The news is on! Another lil' white girl fell down the well!" This is a pretty funny movie. The casting could have been better and so could the plot. There are special appearances by Queen Latifah, Regina Hall, Leslie Nielsen, and Pamela Anderson. It might scare kids when Samara from "The Ring" comes out of the TV. Sexual references throughout, and some language.15+
