Ted Audience Reviews

Kattiera Nana I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
ReaderKenka Let's be realistic.

Zandra The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
adonis98-743-186503 John Bennett, a man whose childhood wish of bringing his teddy bear to life came true, now must decide between keeping the relationship with the bear or his girlfriend, Lori. Seth McFarlane's Ted is way far from being a kid's film and please note and remember that for the rest of this review. Mark Wahlberg and Ted had a very good chemistry together, Mila Kunis was also pretty good and even tho the film is mostly nudity, drugs, alcohol and sexual references? It somehow works because it's actually funny and the actors did care for it plus Ted 2 was good too.
sakram Ted is a movie, well, rather a puppet that came to life because of a Xmas wish, and becomes best friends with its owner since childhood, and somehow, the duo makes a good time-killing movie, with fine humor including dirty jokes and whatnot, I found myself laughing spontaneously from time to time, the movie gets serious sometimes, but generally, this movie is nice.7/10
patomartinezfgo I didn't walk into TED expecting a masterpiece of a film. I just walked into the film expecting a fun movie about a lazy bear and his friend. And that is exactly what I got.Do not come into this movie expecting anything great, just know that you will probably get some pretty hard laughs out of it and that's it.Mark Wahlberg and TED have very good chemistry and it is very fun to see them together in all kinds of situations. Most of the jokes land and the CGI on the bear is pretty good. What I disliked about the film is the story. I really didn't care about Mark Wahlberg and his girlfriend. All I wanted to see was TED and Mark doing some crazy sh*t, and whenever they decided to cut back to the "main" plot, I was bored. The ending is also pretty bad, it is not funny and it tries (and fails) to be dramatic, so it just leaves you with this weird ending that feels like it belongs to a different movie.
Art Vandelay I'll admit Family Guy's shtick wore thin for me after about half a season after they brought it back from cancellation. I can only watch it with a particular buddy who thinks it's the greatest show ever. So I'm not the target audience for this movie. On the other hand, I think Blazing Saddles is the funniest movie ever made, including - maybe especially - all the n-bombs, fart jokes and inside references. So there should have been something here for me to enjoy. But there wasn't. Ted is a mean-spirited, vulgar, obnoxious movie. I didn't laugh once. In fact, this movie managed to make un-funny the only thing guaranteed in life to make every man laugh - seeing another guy taking a shot to the groin. It's depressing to think this movie has brought in more than $500M worth of business and spawned a sequel. It's not the worst comedy ever made - Little Nicky is still probably the worst - but it's right down there.
