Zoe Audience Reviews

More Review
Dynamixor The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
Fatma Suarez The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
Geraldine The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
Billy Ollie Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
sdonohoo Whether you like this film or not, one thing is for sure - you won't be quite the same after watching it. Artistically superb and musical score is spot on. Not going to go into the plot (just watch the film), but this movie really resonates as an unexaggerated glimpse of the not so far off future of AI. Excellent casting, awesome soundtrack, great acting, compelling story all make for a film worthy of your time. No oscars here, of course, but you won't regret watching this it.
remianker When you write a script that wants to tell a story about the feelings an A.I. can have, you definitely don't want to put misconceptions and clichés in it. Unfortunately, that's exactly the case in this movie. As a Sci-Fi movie, I was hoping the movie would display a thought-provoking future, but it only shows us the same world as we live in, but with robots and dating systems that never would work when you start to think about it even a little bit. I don't get why others compare it to "Her" or "Ex Machina", those movies both give a lot more depth in what A.I. is, how it works, and where some problems lie. Oh, and those movies have an exciting plot, this movie just shows us the same kind of scenes over and over again. I feel that the whole story could have been told in just a few scenes. The editing was not too good either, on a technical level the movie is very 'eh' to me. The colored shots didn't really stand out to me, either. Now on the plus side, the actors are great, but in this movie they're just wasting talent. This movie is also really good in capturing love scenes, which is probably the purpose this film is made for. It's like a 1.5 hour romantic film just for the romance, but they threw some robots in.After all, I don't hate the movie itself, and it truly wasn't a torment to watch, but the story is just filled with nothing and it represents a misleading and plain view on A.I.
ssto This is a really fantastic movie - very sensitive, very emotional.it is only somewhat resembling "Her", but here the conflict is deeper and with a much bigger impact. The breakdown and struggles were depicted so well, that although I appreciated the relief from the happy-end, I'd really accept a darker ending which might have been equally "realistic".Overall, a very good experience. Possibly a little slow to start, but with time I was taken away by the emotions of the pair and followed the developments with keen interest
adaptiveplanner Don't really know how to describe this, but I keep going back to it.
