Young Johnny is gung-ho and full of courage. Johnny's brainiac twin sisters, Susan and Mary, use Johnny as their guinea pig for their outrageous scientific experiments. If they can dream it up, Johnny will do it; as long as his genetically engineered super dog, Dukey, can come along.

Johnny Test Audience Reviews

Linbeymusol Wonderful character development!
Cathardincu Surprisingly incoherent and boring
Matialth Good concept, poorly executed.
Afouotos Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
bugssponge I used to watch this a lot as a kid cause it was always on. The characters are decent and the writing is okay. I have to agree that the show has its bad moments, but it's not unbearable like Teen Titans Go! I'm surprised it lasted 6 seasons. I thought it was going to end after 3.
camiacono This is the worst show prior to Teen titans go that could ever be made in animation. First thing the shows animation is so cheap there aren't enough frames per second everything is just so damn stiff and jerky it looks like a half ass animation made by a eleven year old. second the concept of the show is just a reversed Dexter's lab and it tries to make that into something that kids will like by trying to make it cool hip and modern which with a reverse Dexter's lab it dose not work. Third the main character is a terrible person, Johnny test is probably the most unlikeable person in the whole show, he has an unnatural high pitch voice, he's mostly just steals his sisters invention's, he's annoying, he's dumb, and he doesn't have friends, I'm not joking the only friend that he can call a friend is the dog that his sisters made sentient so it wont probably become lonely creep. Fourth without the Genius twins the show wouldn't exist, when a show is named after a character it should imply the character has some sort of skill but Johnny is just a idiot who uses his sisters inventions for whatever bull crap idea of a episode he's in so he has no real talent which makes him pathetic. 5th The show replays the whip sound so much and even when it doesn't even make sense like when a character thrust there arm, it gets real annoying real fast. 6th the show barely has any morals. 7th The show just tries to appeal to a demographic which is the last thing a show should do, when all you do is try to make a show kids will think is cool all you get is a crappy show. 8th The show is cheap to make it doesn't matter how low viewer ship is the low budget of the show is enough to fill in time slots. 9th the humor is unfunny and is mostly mean spited. 10th yea ten major problems with this show, okay the 10th wrong with this is that it still airs on Boomerang. Really? I know boomerang is where old and canceled cartoons are played but what the hell do kids really like this bull crap to still have reruns of it on boomerang? I know the animations cheap but the show is canceled and you have much better canceled show like Dexter's lab, Time squad, Generator Rex, Courage, What a cartoon show, power puff, chowder, Even robot Jones is a better line up than Johnny Test. Almost everything Teletoon makes is bound to be crap but Johnny test is the absolute worst!
realinachos Johnny Test is one of the worst cartoons Cartoon Network has EVER had. It's unoriginal, old, and beyond stupid. Why? The same things happen in every episode, over and over again, the same unfunny and corny jokes, and the same stolen ideas from other cartoons. It's almost like a cheap ripoff of Dexter's Lab! Here's how just about every episode starts and ends: Johnny wants something like an action figure or something, Johnny bribes his sisters to help using one of their inventions, Johnny messes around with the invention, something goes horribly wrong or messes up with the city, Johnny has to fix the mess with his sisters and dog, and Johnny admits he's wrong and says he's sorry and will never do it again, but it happens again and again. Can you see how annoying a show like that gets?! The animation is terrible, the main character is selfish, whiny and rude and he blackmails someone to get what he wants. The thing I really hate about this show is that there is almost little to no creativity. Think about it. None of the characters are likable, and they aren't special or relating to anyone in any way whatsoever. The animation is lazy, sloppy and full of errors. I hope everyone reading my review stays away from this horrible piece of crap, it doesn't even deserve to be on Cartoon Network.
kiwanuka Johnny test has very bad animation, most of the characters (Expect Dukey, being more saner, Susan and Mary, which I would feel sorry for, because of always dealing with Johnny, and Sissy, because... Well, she could be a good pairing with Johnny) are unlikeable, the plots are formulaic, the jokes are very lousy, its similar to Dexter's LaboratoryJohnny is Dee-Dee, but more annoyingSusan and Mary is Dexter, split apartDukey is also uninspired believe it or not. One episode features a dog, in which he could talk, thanks to Dexter.Hugh and Lila test, Johnny's mom and dad, are like Dexter's mom and dad, but switching genders, (Lila, Johnny's mom, is Dexter's dad, and Hugh, Johnny's dad, is Dexter's mom, only more unlikeable), and flanderized. It doesn't help that the show's concept comes from "1995," meaning that, after Dexter's Lab first aired in what a cartoon, they quickly create the concept.Score; 2/10.
