Info

Rocko is a wallaby who has emigrated to America from Australia. He lives in O-Town and tries to get through life but, of course, comes across a multitude of dilemmas and misadventures he must get through. Other characters include Rocko's best friend, Heffer, a steer who has been raised by wolves, Filbert, a paranoid hypochondriac turtle, Rocko's faithful (but none-too-bright) dog Spunky, and Ed Bighead who detests Rocko and hates having him for a next door neighbor. On this show, Rocko has such adventures as trying to adapt to a new vacuum cleaner, having Heffer move in temporarily after his parents kick him out, and going to a movie theater.

Rocko's Modern Life Audience Reviews

Evengyny Thanks for the memories!
AniInterview Sorry, this movie sucks
SpuffyWeb Sadly Over-hyped
Aiden Melton The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.
invaderyoukochan Me and my late sister (who died in a car crash) watched this show on Nick Japan back in the end of the 1990s and then again in English very early during the turn of the 2010s. So every time I see this show, I think of her. Alot of the SpongeBob staff worked on this show first, and the plots and characters are pretty similar: Rocko and SpongeBob, Heffer and Patrick, Ed and Squidward, Spunky and Gary, etc. My favorite episode has to be the one where Rocko visited his uncle who lives in Texas; my sister always thought he was badass. Watching that episode now makes me miss my sister, even though she could be annoying at times, we still bonded over Rocko and I do know she at least liked Sonic.
StClair59 Rocko's Modern Life was one of my all-time favorite shows as a kid. It is about a wallaby named Rocko, his dog who (possible spoiler) eats *everything*, Spunky, his two best friends, Heffer Wolfe (a steer) and Filburt (a turtle), and his froggy neighbors, Ed and Beverly Bighead. I love Rocko, and, whoever says that Nickelodeon isn't all that good anymore, I agree! I'm not saying I hate iCarly and those other new shows (I may think they'd be okay if I ever get the chance to watch them), but ever since Jimmy Neutron and some of the other new shows took the places of Doug, Pete & Pete, Aah! Real Monsters, Rocko's Modern Life, and the other Nickelodeon classics, Nick's totally not the same anymore, and I hate that! My cousin Jordan told me Rocko didn't come on anymore, and I kind of had that feeling and was like, "I hate that!" However, if you have easy access to the Internet, don't fret. You can still watch some of the fun episodes about Rocko, Heffer, Filburt, Spunky, and all their craziness on a little website-it's called YouTube!
tommypezmaster The first time Rocko's extent of his nobalwit is shown. and a not bad explanation by Filbert as its happening.the fight between Rocko and the Big Heads is one of the best scenes in Old Foggy Froggy. not to mention most other scenes in RML are still great throughout. excellent work in of music! personally I'm a Movie/DVD artist, that edits TV shows and add music to make certain scenes... better. i cant do it with RML because its already perfect, in everyway! espessically in The Lounge Singer.great humor was worked in to it at opposite times, without looseing focus of the situration of that the characters were in at the time. highly recommended
Catherine_Grace_Zeh I used to watch this show when I was growing up. When I think about it, I remember it very well. If you ask me, it was a good show. Two things I especially remember very well are the opening sequence and theme song. In addition to that, everyone was ideally cast. Also, the writing was very strong. The performances were top-grade, too. I hope some network brings it back so I can see every episode. Before I wrap this up, I'd like to say that I'll always remember this show in my memory forever, even though I'm not sure if I've seen every episode. Now, in conclusion, if some network ever brings it back, I hope that you catch it one day before it goes off the air for good.
