Oblivious Audience Reviews

Lovesusti The Worst Film Ever
SunnyHello Nice effects though.
FeistyUpper If you don't like this, we can't be friends.
Robert Joyner The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
tkd_master Welcome to the Oblivious. It's the hidden camera game show you don't know you're on!Host Regan Burns, in disguise, chats with complete strangers and inserts 5 trivia questions. After revealing himself and the hidden camera's location, Burns gives the unsuspecting contestants $20 cash for each correct answer. A "lightning round"(as many questions as possible in 60 seconds) is also done with the $20 per correct answer payout. Scantily-clad models are frequently seen carrying a visual aid for a $100 bonus question. The first player each show is given a chance for more money by pulling Burns' routine on someone else with Burns feeding them lines and questions through a hidden earpiece. The new player still gets $20 per correct answer but the player-turned-host gets $100 for each of the new player's correct answers. At commercial breaks, Burns stops some random people and asks them one question for $20.Theme Song:You might think I'm acting' funny Might not take me serious You won't know you're winning money 'Cause you are oblivious! Watch out for Oblivious.
soccer_shock Oh my gosh, I love this show. It is the best! I don't usually laugh a lot off T.V. shows but this one is so hilarious. Regan Burnes' impressions are hilarious, he has really funny jokes and does a lot of funny faces and has wacky costumes. Since the show is only aired on Spike, the people that are on it aren't really familiar with the host. Any ways, the plot goes like this. The host Regan Burnes, pretends to play as an employee or manager in a certain job (ex: clown, hotel clerk, black jack dealer, priest) and asks 5 questions to someone who he might approach or someone who approaches him. He doesn't just ask the questions straight out, he talks and makes jokes with them during the conversation and asks them so they wont get too suspicious. Every question they get right earns them $20. Also, the first person who he finds on his first act will get a chance to dress up like the certain person in the occupation he just did and play the same trick to the next person who they see. Every question the person they approach gets right earns the person who is getting asked the questions $20 per and the person who is asking them $100. Also, there is a lightning round where Regan plays the trick on two people that compete against each other for 60 secs and get asked question after question. The winner of the lighting round gets $20 for each question as long is a bonus question worth $100.
paulfoulger I had not seen this show until recent (2004) reruns. It has quickly become a "must watch" for me. The humor is fresh, and much of it spontaneous. It may follow somewhat in the format of other shows (e.g. Candid Camera), but with the game show twist manages to give an appearance of originality. Most of the credit must go to Regan Burns, who is very gifted. I hope we will see much more of him in other projects in the future. He has a natural talent for humor, and carries the physical aspects wonderfully e.g. the pommel horse demo. He manages to develop a good relationship with his victims, and thus the pranks don't come off seeming mean spirited. Some of the best moments in the show are the reactions of the people on the street to receiving unexpected $20 bills.
speedracer1977 While the show is just another of the thousands of reality shows that TV seems to throw at us, it was pretty funny to see the looks on peoples faces when they found out they were on a hidden camera game show. Hopefully Spike will realize how good this was and bring it back. "You've been caught oblivious."
