Befikre Audience Reviews

Dotbankey A lot of fun.
InformationRap This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
Kaydan Christian A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
Brenda The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Ravinder Singh First of all, I don't understand all the one-star ratings here. I mean, it's a bad movie, no doubt, but not that bad that so many people decided to give it 1 out of 10.Now coming to the movie, it wasn't as "crazy" as it seemed in the trailer. It did have a lot of kissing scenes, but for the most part, it was a normal clichéd Bollywood mediocrity. Hero and heroine meet, have sex and break-up while still remaining friends. They still have feelings for each other but are about to get married to other persons. The plot was predictable and Vani Kapoor was a misfit. But what annoyed me is that throughout the movie they were trying too hard to make us believe in them. I couldn't. The chemistry between the lead pair just didn't feel real nor did any other emotional aspect. At least the movie wasn't trying to take itself too seriously. The cinematography was decent and songs were good too. But I agree with a previous review that it is strictly a one time watch.Ranveer Singh is the only reason you should watch this movie. Only if he were present throughout the entirety of the movie...Apart from him, Shyra(Vani Kapoor)'s parents were the only other interesting characters, but they too were quite clichéd. Almost every Indian parent living in a foreign country is shown like that in Bollywood.P.S. The guy Vani was to be married to, I don't know his name but he sucked.
Rawal Afzal I think this film is strictly reserved for Ranveer Singh's fans, who's the sole grace of the sinking ship that it is. Surely enough he lights up your mood with a joke or scene here or there. The scene that I loved the most was when he's disturbed at night by the girl as she wants to talk about something with him, he goes up to her and says that anything below cancer won't do because he's just dumped the most colourful night of his life for her sake!Apart from him, the dance by him and the girl before the day of their respective weddings was really top class and awesome! Really loved that. The film overall is plain rubbish. In such films they show that being romantic and getting married is very old-fashioned and cliché, but what they fail to realise is that the protagonists saying "Mujhe nahi'n karni koi shaadi waadi" is itself getting overused and boring. Bollywood has been making films about it since years now!I wouldn't say that I'm robbed here anything, since I watched this film with zero expectations having read the reviews. I just did it for Ranveer's sake. From a critical view, this film doesn't even deserve being called a film. Complete nonsense!
shobanchittuprolu Befikre (2016): I never have any problem with lengthy duration like The Godfather,LOTR series but I never felt bored. In fact I enjoyed those films and remained classics. Why am I comparing those classics with Befikre?I am coming to the point. While I was watching Befikre, suddenly I felt that this movie is coming to its ending at last so I checked my watch but to my shock just 1 hour of the movie has completed:(:(:( At that moment itself I felt that how do I have to bear this crap for another hour..Plot: A quintessential Delhi boy Dharam (Ranveer Singh) comes to Paris for work in search of an adventure. Just when he was about to embark on this journey of his life he bumps into a wild, free spirited, French born Indian girl Shyra (Vaani Kapoor). A feisty romance ensues between the two in which both of their personalities- one being an equal match for the other are tested to the limit. Battling their ups and downs, both realize that love is a leap of faith that can only be taken by those who dare to love.Plus Points:1)Ranveer Singh: With his typical but decent performance Raveer Singh is the only saving grace of the movie. He was very well suited and humorous in his respective role as Dharam Gulati who played a comedian/playboy.2)Cinematography: Kaname Onoyama's cinematography is brilliant. He did extremely well showing the exotic Paris with beautiful camera work.3)Nashe se Chad gayi: This is the only song which is very good and choreography in this song is very good.A good number for parties.Minus Points: Apart from what I have written in plus points, rest of the movie is crap.Aditya Chopra, the legend who gave best romantic movie of India with DDLJ,gave this utter rubbish. This movie was titled Befikre which means Without any worries. So I waited a lot to see what they will do "that crazy" without any worries. But only thing I found is that they only have sex and some kissing without worries.Clearly a wrong title for this movie.Vaani Kapoor looked like a weird robot in few scenes. Her look is terrible. The movie has 23 kissing scenes! One of the largest Bollywood movies have ever got. This is the only thing the makers wanted to attract and if you want to watch those weird kisses, you can watch this crap.Otherwise avoid this and save your valuable time..My rating 4/10
Andre Santhumayor BEFIKRE is a rom-com directed by Aditya Chopra, starring Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor. The film revolves around the relationship of Dharam (Singh) and Shyra (Kapoor) in the city of Paris. The main problem this film does possess is the fact that it is hemmed by a director who made an Indian classic (DDLJ), hence people are naturally expecting a lot. However, that being said, this film is a good entertainer. Yes, it does have an extremely predictable storyline and many people might be a bit annoyed with the physical affection, but I do appreciate the western outlook to rather Indian storyline. Aditya Chopra has definitely experimented on something and all due credit where it is deserved. The film tries to keep it breezy. Beware, the film doesn't weigh in much on a story, but Ranveer Singh's acting does manage to keep the film afloat. His sheer charisma and energy elevates the dialogues as well. Vaani Kapoor does quite a good job, but it doesn't match up to her co-star. All the other supporting cast do a great job as well. However, the music in this film is superb, in my opinion. Composed by Vishal and Shekhar, the soundtrack manage to elevate the film as well. The background score is great as well.In conclusion, don't go into this one expecting too much. Befikre is slightly ambitious, but it manages to entertain. The second half tends to drag for a bit long, and there is this extremely 'bad comedy ending' to it. But excluding those, Befikre makes for a fun timepass.BEFIKRE- 5/10
