Comedy Central Roast of David Hasselhoff Audience Reviews

Dotsthavesp I wanted to but couldn't!
Tedfoldol everything you have heard about this movie is true.
Janae Milner Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.
Zlatica One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
brchthethird Let the roasting continue with David Hasselhoff, star of KNIGHT RIDER and BAYWATCH! Usually, the jokes are funnier when you actually care about or are very familiar with the roastee, but I only watched BAYWATCH and a few episodes of KNIGHT RIDER so I really wouldn't consider myself a fan as such. That being said, the dais was pretty good and the jokes were mostly good as well. As is usual, the standouts were Lisa Lampanelli (going surprisingly early this time), Jeff Ross, and Greg Giraldo (who killed it, in my opinion). The only ones I didn't really care for were Hulk Hogan and Gilbert Gottfried, although a lot of it had to do with the delivery more than the content. If the roast had just been jokes, I would place it somewhere between the bottom and the middle, but the Hoff's intro and singing helped push it over that cheesy edge. Overall, this roast is kind of middle-of-the-road, but nonetheless enjoyable.
Michael_Elliott Comedy Central Roast of David Hasselhoff (2010) *** 1/2 (out of 4)Vulgar humor isn't for everyone but if you enjoy bad language and dirty jokes then these Comedy Central Roasts should be your cup of tea. I've seen the majority of them and they all are pretty much the same as you get some terrific jokes and then you get some people who really shouldn't be telling any jokes because they're just not very funny. However, those unfunny ones are usually good targets to other's jokes so it all works out in the end. Seth MacFarlane hosts the event and starts off by asking how you can tell a joke about a joke in reference to our Hasselhoff. From there things to off to a very funny start as MacFarlane has a terrific sense of humor and really tells some very funny jokes aimed at the cast of roasters and these folks include Pamela Anderson, George Hamilton, Whitney Cummings, Greg Giraldo, Gilbert Gottfried, Hulk Hogan, Jeffrey Ross, Jerry Springer and of course Lisa Lampanelli. As usual, the real comedies are the ones who get the biggest laughs and Giraldo, Ross and Lampanelli don't disappoint. All three are absolutely brutal in their jokes, which include one hysterical one involving Hitler. The real shock here is that George Hamilton does a pretty good job, which you probably won't expect. It was rather funny hearing some of his dirty jokes and I thought he had a very good delivery. It should go without saying but Anderson pretty much bombs on her jokes but she's one of those easy targets that get a lot of abuse from the roasters. I would add that her vagina jokes are getting old and tired so perhaps future comedians will give those a rest. All in all this is another highly entertaining and incredibly funny entry in the series. If you enjoy dirty humor then you should find yourself laughing.
