Dil To Pagal Hai Audience Reviews

Ensofter Overrated and overhyped
Limerculer A waste of 90 minutes of my life
Erica Derrick By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
Bob This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
Terence Frederick First of all, this is a commercial bollywood movie and so if you looking for a classy-art-flick then this ain't for you. The songs are very good and can't choose a single best one as they all are. The choreography dance sequence between Lolo and Maduri is something to look for. The camera-work is an eye candy and of course the movie sets. Lolo's role was memorable and no wonder she was presented the silver lotus. Madhuri was pleasing with her beautiful dance steps and of course with her smile. SRK (one of the best entertainer) will keep you charmed throughout the movie. I loved the theme that has such beautiful message. AK was well supportive with his screen presence. . The few sentimental scenes near the climax were annoying and director could've edited it out and the movie could've been made shorter at least by half an hour.
Manuel Jose This is among the crappiest movies I have ever seen. It is unbelievably long, unbelievably stupid and unbelievably devoid of any kind of story line at all. I believe, I went into deep sleep twice or thrice during the movie. This is NOT the face of Indian cinema. This is the 'marketed' face of Indian cinema. Dil To Pagal Hai is like a 100 Indian television soap operas stitched together. Dil To Pagal Hai is an eyewash, a shame to the original cinema. It is a superficially hyped movie, with 'King' Khan doing the lead role. Sharugh Khan is an entertainer at best. He don't know the first letter of acting. He is superficially over rated(to put it lightly), just like his films. You should see his acting in emotional scenes, I always felt like, he is some kind of an epilepsy patient. He does strange things with his face whenever there is an emotional scene and that is not called acting, that is overacting. A big thumbs down to all those who felt this movie was 'great'. Sorry for my language, but I can't help it.
Aparajeeta I have seen this movie innumerable times. I am a huge fan of Madhuri Dixit and feel that this is her best movie by all standards. Some might contend that this honor should go to Hum Aapke Hain Kaun.Well, since I am on Madhuri's side, either ways,I am on the winning side. But in my opinion, Madhuri has looked her gorgeous best in this movie. Her talent is showcased to the helm in every moment that she is in the frame. The dreamy eyed lovelorn girl, could not have been portrayed with better panache and finesse than was done by her. The most amazing aspect of Madhuri in the movie was the freshness and innocence she brought to her character despite having been around for sometime.Truly the work of a genius. SRK and Karishma were excellent in their supporting roles. It is a beautiful story, well written and executed with a masterful elegance. I strongly recommend this movie to all moviegoers who, like me,are besotted by movie magic.
Prea This film has reached expectations beyond belief and it is no surprise that Dil Tu Pagal Hai was done by none other than Yash Chopra. I'm into musicals and romances, which was probably why I adore this film and is the best. The performances were phenomenal, but that is no surprise coming from stars such as Shah Rukh Khan who is the 'Baadshah' of Bollywood (plus i recommend you watch Veer-Zaara - that film I think surpasses this one in some scenes). Madhuri Dixit had come back again in this film after Hum Aapke Hain Kaun... and to me she is the best dancer and actress I have ever seen in Bollywood. Karisma Kapoor was exceptional as Nisha in the film and I think no one else could have done her role better as the modern Indian girl - though now it is seen in practically all Yash Raj films (e.g. Mujhse Dosti Karogi). Watch the film and hopefully you'll love it as much as me.
