Billy Ollie Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
rodrig58 Alain Delon is not attacked by bees. But, he has the"good sense" to let himself killed in the end. Well, that's what he wanted, he's also the producer of the movie, he wanted to awaken a melancholic sympathy in us. Neither Mireille Darc is attacked by bees. It's okay, I can understand that, they are not the only humans which have a special relation with the animals, animals love me too, actually, they love me even more than humans love me. The story is not extraordinary, nor is Roubaix's music. All the actors they do what they can. A lot of landscapes, all depressing images, everything is sad and disheartening.
dbdumonteil Many people at the time thought that Delon played "Jeff" (the posters were deceptive);he actually plays Laurent ,a young gangster who, after a holdup,is searching for his boss who has left the gang and of course has taken all the dough. The runaway's lover,Eva accompanies him. This is a moderately entertaining detective film.It was not the first time Delon had worked with Jean Herman. The previous year, they had made a better thriller "Adieu L'Ami" also starring Charles Bronson. Here,Delon played opposite Mireille Darc who was his girlfriend at the time .But the best is once again,François de Roubaix's tuneful delicate score.
