Long Way Round Audience Reviews

Beanbioca As Good As It Gets
Odelecol Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.
Arianna Moses Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.
Allison Davies The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
cccjerkycompany Don't you hate it when you want to go on an adventure with you really good male friend and your celebrity gets in the way? All that camera, bike riding, marshal arts, life saving training almost seems unimportant considering that everyone knew they were coming. Don't break your free gear! Oh bother (I'm trying to speak British), I have to stay at someone's house instead of (fake)camping. Woe is me (on a roll), the police are escorting us through this town and traffic... I just want to have a peaceful, zen-like experience and do it like a big boy!I won't go on but I hope some of you get the gist. Oh, one spoiler alert - Ewan is so brave he shows his pimple on camera. What a real guy!
eapplebaum It's 2015 and I am watching this show slowly in my own time. I am loving it!! Of course it helps I adore traveling myself and oh, yes, Ewan McGregor!! But he and Charlie and wonderful mates and the idea of the show is a wonderful ride with them on their motorcycles. I was upset about Ewan getting gasoline IN his eye and then very upset about him getting some sort of insect bite that swelled up around his forehead. The film was done quite a while ago so everything turned out fine, but, jeez, could have been bad, not to mention they were harassed by a bunch of thugs in Khazakstan. I was not surprised to learn from Charlie that Ewan feels things deeply. I roared in laughter when they got painful massages in Khazakstan by 2 sumo wrestler type guys in speedo's. Hilarious!! My ONLY criticism of this series they devote their lives to is, someone chose the WORST music supervisor!! Dear LORD a fantastic opportunity was missed to create an atmosphere worthy of music, journey and visuals and the majority of the music SUCKS!!!
revenue_rock The personification of wanderlust. Loved this so much, couldn't get enough and immediately watched Long Way Down after. I miss the guys now, and have nothing to watch. The show starts of with the guys in pre production. It was fascinating watching what the crew go through before they go. Not just their travels but the amount of work that goes into filming a show of this size is unbelievable. The show has not encouraged me to pursue my dreams of world travel, but has also given me a massive appreciation of motorcycles. I also fell in love with Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman (no homo) ;) They are so down to earth and have no egos. The show then goes on to demonstrate the beautiful world we inhabit. The countries, cultures and people all make the show what it is. It really is fantastic and I doubt they will ever top this!
exfd01 Absolutely brilliant, excellent or every other superlative! I bought the DVD and every time I finished an episode I got the feeling deep inside to go into garage take my bike and start a trip like that - it creates that yearning inside to do the same thing - really unbelievable. Both Charley and ( superstar ) Ewan McGregor are that naturally guys - they are so likable. It is so funny to listen to there conversation, they are joking during the whole time even when they completely destroyed because of the unexpected circumstances. I felt like watching close friends and there keeps a kind of emptiness inside when the DVD is finished ... Absolutely have to be seen!!! I finished the DVD some hours ago and I could start watching again just right now.
