Natural Born Pranksters Audience Reviews

TrueHello Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.
KnotStronger This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.
Nayan Gough A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
Zlatica One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
Liam0107 SPOILER ALERT; This movie is just, just terrible. Want to know how bad it is? I could only watch 20 minutes of it, say I would watch the rest, but the DOOM beta is open this weekend and I would rather play that. Seriously, this shouldn't even be allowed to be sold it's THAT BAD. This is literally a 90 minute long YouTube video, there is nothing original about this movie, there is nothing funny, the pranks are fake, you can literally tell by watching them that they are unrealistic and stupid. It's like pranking someone into thinking they just killed their family, and 2 weeks later the 'Natural Born Pranksters' come out with the camera's like ITS A PRANK M9 LOL XD. Who the f**k is Dennis Roady anyway? I know who the other 2 knobs are but who is this guy? There's been talks of a Natural Born Pranksters 2, I hope for that movie they bring on an even more obscure and irrelevant prankster for LOL LE TROLL MOMENTS!The best thing about this whole movie was the fact that Vitalyzdtv was able to get an erection, unlike in his fail of a porno for BangBus. Seriously, go watch that, it's more entertaining than this movie.Overall, I genuinely have to say that this is possibly the worst thing I have ever seen in my life. No joke. This is coming from a guy who thought that people gave Pixels too much hate. I love movies, and I love YouTube, and now, I love the thought of me gouging my eyes out with a spoon so I don't have to ever see this movie again. Please remember that I only watched 20 minutes and I already despise this movie.TL;DR - This movie is f***ing cancerous.
jake-82632 We know these guys can pull off great pranks on Youtube with just a small budget and one camera. So when I paid to watch this movie, which I assume had a movie sized budget and a large film crew, it was fair to expect something bigger, more spectacular and special. Boy... was I disappointed! This so called movie was all over the place. There was no real structure or story and it was poorly edited. I broke a smile here and there but the pranks where mediocre at best and in places overly sexualised. This definitely isn't a family friendly movie. Yes they had better makeup and costumes, and the locations were different from their usual Youtube pranks, but they just weren't that funny. Some people think the pranks in the movie maybe fake. I don't believe they are but I can see how others might think this. They are just not very well put together pranks, not that original, not shot well and they seemed to have been forced and rushed. Some of the marks/suspects may of been chosen for their eccentricity but I don't think they were in on it.Also unless you follow these three on Youtube you might not get what they are about as the movie doesn't really introduce them or tell their story. I think they missed a real opportunity with this movie to reach out to a new audience outside of Youtube and to show existing fans that they could take it to the next level.Honestly I really didn't think it was worth paying to watch this movie. However I suspect loyal Youtube fans will buy it regardless if the reviews are good or bad. That's probably why they got the green light and funds to make this movie in the first place because they know they will make a profit from the existing fan base of the three Youtubers.Skip this movie and spend 90 minutes rewatching some of their old pranks on Youtube instead, they are more entertaining and free.
saburaukami-645-566777 I am a big fan of all 3 of these guys. I watch a lot of their content on YT. I pre-ordered this on Google play and couldn't wait to see it. However, it is seriously a disappointment. Regardless if the pranks were fake or not doesn't even matter. The pranks are hardly even pranks, or funny. The only time I laughed was after watching this and said, "That was actually a pretty awesome April fools day prank. They fooled me into buying this crap." I actually had really high hopes for this film and was greatly disappointed. If you want to watch this, rent it or just stream it. Not worth buying. 1/10 for being a movie, 10/10 for being an April fools prank on all their fans. Smile More!
pandreas-38179 Let me first start off by saying that I am a long time fan of Roman Atwood (been watching his content since day one and continue to watch every day) who in turn introduced me to Vitaly and Dennis. All three of these guys are very talented and popular in the YouTube world but sadly, their first step into Hollywood was quite a stumble. Being that I follow these three pranksters on YouTube, I had a lot of knowledge about this film prior to seeing it, yet I was curious as to how they were going to incorporate "pranks" into a feature film. Was it going to be a newer version of the Jackass franchise? Was it going to be plot based with some pranks mixed in similar to Sacha Baron Cohen's projects? Or was Roman and the rest of the Natural Born Pranksters going to give us something new and creative? Unfortunately, this ended up being a second rate Jackass-esque movie. There was absolutely no plot whatsoever, the "pranks" just cut from one to another with no rhyme or reason and the editing/production was definitely not even close to the quality which was seen in Jackass. In fact, this movie reminded me a lot of the Tom Green show that was on MTV about 15 years ago. As I sat through the movie, I kept thinking to myself "okay, it's going to get better but here I am; a week later and I am still waiting. I really hate having to write such an honest review because I am a big fan of Roman Atwood and I think he is a very talented person with a creative mind. I just think that the type of comedy and pranks that Roman and Dennis are known for is much different than the R-rated content seen in the pranks of Vitaly. A movie doesn't need to be filled with sex toys, lots of cursing and bodily fluids in order to be funny. Roman and Dennis probably could have created a much better film without Vitaly while keeping a PG-13 rating and attracting the broad range of viewers which they have in their YouTube careers. Lastly, Roman had recently mentioned that a Natural Born Pranksters 2 is on the horizon. Hopefully he and the entire crew learn from the mistakes that were made in this film, dump Vitaly and come back better and stronger the next time around. I sincerely wish Roman the best because he put a lot of time, energy and passion into making this movie. I would also like to wish him a lot of luck with the second project because I know that he is a very talented person who I hope matches up better with someone else on screen in the future!
