Evengyny Thanks for the memories!
SnoReptilePlenty Memorable, crazy movie
Voxitype Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.
Kinley This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows
iamonkara This movie has multiple layers, each fascinating in its own right. One layer gives you a glimpse into ineptness of and corruption in Congress party which fails to recognize visionary talents. Other layer shows ceaseless bullying by USA and how they care least about international peace and care only about maintaining a stranglehold on other countries to maintain their super power status. Yet another layer shows the relentless patriotism, driving individuals to lift the nation to great heights, including the visionaries in often misunderstood nationalistic party, BJP.Yet PARMANU is not about the parties or countries it is about the burning passion a patriot has to make the impossible possible to change the future of the country while risking family and personal life. Its a great manifestation of will power to achieve the goal of making India a Nuclear State which catching the bully (USA) off guard.A must watch!!!
sisyaa Pros: Based on true events, which undoubtedly is a pride of any sensible Indian Cons: Everything else. Just coz this is based on a true event (especially a proud moment) doesn't automatically makes this movie a good one. Story telling is lazy, character building is lazy. Not one character with whom one can relate or even understand their background except someone saying "he's brilliant, he's awesome". Gimme a break. Dont tell me, SHOW me. That's what movie is about.Technical aspect of the Pokhran test is so diluted as if it looks like connecting a dynamite using wires and pulling the switch. Nothing about the challenges they've faced is shown except brushing the surface of it.When i read about Pokhran, clearly it's notable that they've missed the basic thing, which is the hard work put in by each one of the team member.John Abraham and the IB girl- God save their acting. Others acting is passable at best, except Boman Irani, who doesn't have much screen time. This move, from a story telling point of view, kinda sucks. Just coz I'm Indian, I've given this 5/10.
sushil-95735 This movie made me proud of being a Hindustani. There are many such stories around.
barshanghosh It helps us to think from an opposite angle for fighting against our misfortune.
