Three years ago, twenty-two year old "girl-next door" Rachel barely survived a brutal massacre that left all of her friends murdered. Time has passed, and Rachel has moved on, but unfortunately her close friends are spending Spring Break in a secluded house in the woods, and they have cordially invited her to join. She would never have accepted the invitation if she realized that another bloodbath would be showing up as plus one. Once Rachel and her friends arrive at the cabin, the partying, sex, and...terror begins. From girls' only pillow fights to debauchery in a bedroom, it's going to be a blast...aside from the stabbing, flesh melting, and castration. Seven friends will go into a secluded house for the best Spring Break of their lives, but only one will be alive to post about it on Facebook the next week, as Rachel's biggest fears become a reality once again! Can Rachel survive another bloody massacre?

KnotStronger This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.
Mandeep Tyson The acting in this movie is really good.
TheLittleSongbird Was drawn into seeing it, with a cool poster/cover, an slightly intriguing but very derivative premise and as someone with a general appreciation for horror. That it was low-budget, which from frequent personal experience is rarely a good sign due to that there are so many poor ones out there, made me though apprehensive. It is sadly however yet another film seen recently, hence some reiteration because the exact same strengths and flaws those films are present here, that to me was incredibly disappointing considering its potential which it doesn't do anywhere near enough with. As a film it's terrible, with a plethora of problems (huge ones too) and doesn't do enough with its potential, which was hardly small. There is next to nothing to recommend and it is a sleeper.Lets start with the sole positive. The scenery is atmospheric and spooky.Unfortunately, it is not done justice by the rather direct to video schlocky way it's shot and edited, it was very clear that the film was made in a rush with no care or enthusiasm. Going on further to the negatives, the story does feel paper thin, disjointed and over-stretched and some of it feels vague, under-explained in the last third where the film especially became duller, more predictable, more senseless and less scary. Too many characters are too sketchy and with nowhere near enough to make one want to endear to them. Their annoying and illogical decision making and behaviours frustrates.Making the film feel bland and forgettable with not enough heart put into it. The effects are ropy at best, the sound quality is obvious and utilised cheaply (being too loud in the build ups and people's reactions) and it's best not mentioning the uniformly lumbering and histrionic acting.Dialogue can be stilted and rambling, with lots of clichés and no depth whatsoever, while the pace goes to a standstill very quickly and drags on forever with very little going on worth caring about, never recovering. Found too many the supposedly shocking moments not surprising or scary and the supposedly creepy atmosphere dreary, due to the excessive obviousness, a lot of dumb and vague moments and explanations and the lack of tension and suspense. Would not have minded the lack of originality (the film is extremely derivative and in a dumbed and watered down way) if the story and atmosphere were at least alright in execution, in reality they were both dreadfully done. Not to mention a whole novel's worth of inconsistencies and continuity errors. There are a good deal of underdeveloped plot elements and often nonsensical and confusing character motivations, while too many of the things to make you jump or shocked are far from creative or scary and are pretty tame. The ending can be seen from miles away and has a twist so ludicrous that the viewer's feelings mirror the film's title. There is not enough threat here and what there is of it tends to be used poorly, it is completely unimaginative, very repetitive and more odd than creepy, completely failing to show any sense of horror and resorting to cheap typical horror tropes. Some badly sagging momentum too. The direction is leaden, inexperience seems to be all over the film, and the music doesn't really fit. Lets not get started on the far from creative and shaking the head worthy kills and especially the gratuitous and cheap-looking gore.Concluding, near-irredeemably awful. 1/10 Bethany Cox
curiouslyyellow OK.... I love crappy horror films, I really do, but there is a level of crappy that is unacceptable... The only thing worse than the acting is the script,it feels like some film students basically did the whole thing in a weekend. The effects aren't completely awful for the most part, but they aren't good enough to save this abomination. The 'twist' is such a basic overused premise, it's not even really a twist. I've worked on some seriously low budget horror films, now if which were as awful as this.... I'm sorry if anyone or there really liked this, or if it was someone's pet project, but i would rather spend an hour making my penis to a table than watch this film again.....
Michael Ledo Rachel (Callie Ott) is the final girl for a second time, so there is no need to try to figure that out. She is being interrogated by the police and she recalls the trip she took with her friends to the cabin in the woods, even remembering the stuff that happened when she wasn't there. The group was rather obnoxious, especially Rachel's boyfriend. I was glad to see them all die. We get to see the killer's small dainty hands with a bad manicure on the first kill. Not too hard to figure out. The poorly developed "twist" at the end has been done before and better.Guide: F-word, sex, nudity.
Leofwine_draca WTF! is an independent slasher movie with a little more verve and vitality to it than most. I still didn't enjoy it, but it has better production values and more going for it than 99% of badly-acted, barely-efforted indie productions. This '80s throwback features some partying teenagers who are being bumped off by a person unknown, and it has a pretty decent script and some okay acting from the young cast. There's not a lot of gore here, but the FX which do occur are well staged.
