Earth as we know it is gone. A virus has destroyed the planet and rendered all its women infertile, all but one. An elite team of soldiers are tasked with bringing the woman to safety on the newly habitable Earth Two. But when they are forced underground they find themselves fighting for survival from an bloodthirsty creature in a maze of ever shrinking tunnels. As the team's ranks start to dwindle, the tunnels shrink and the ammunition run out, the crawl for survival becomes more and more desperate.

Crawl or Die Audience Reviews

Hottoceame The Age of Commercialism
AniInterview Sorry, this movie sucks
Casey Duggan It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny
Loui Blair It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.
icaptainchaos **Spoilers** The first time I saw this I was a little bit underwhelmed due to the lack of script/dialogue (apart from the speech about a girl being the only remaining fertile female left), but then realised that once "Tank" was the only survivor and she was going from tunnel to tunnel with ever decreasing space, I realised that dialogue wasn't necessary and it became a total tension festival for her (and for the viewer).I don't think I have ever seen a film where the feeling of claustrophobia has been done so well (even The Descent didn't manage that) and when you think of the extremely limited budget, it is even more impressive. At times I was just begging for her to be able to get some air/space/anything to stop the nightmare!Nicole Alonso & Oklahoma Ward ought to be very proud of what they have created & I, for one, can't wait for the continuation of the story. My work colleagues all agreed that it was an incredibly tense film & very good.Watch it, stick with it & be impressed ..... I was!
andyverhoest It is not a movie i would watch several times but glad i have seen it !All the bad critics baffle me. The movie jumped right into the action with only a little info about what the f*ck is going on and never gives any explanation where or what they encounter. Its all fine tho.I'm not squeamish about gore or explicit material but this movie made me feel claustrophobic and uneasy as nothing else without.I was relieved the movie ended because i suffered together with the starring actress, and she did a fine job a horror babe,Hell i want her as Ripley in the Alien remakes. In the end.. is this not whats a horror movie is all about ?To make you feel uneasy?Indeed the story or the effects did not impress like the usual dose Hollywood inject us with.I still give this movie a fat 8 out of 10.Its way better then the thousands of boring crap horror movies i ever seen.Only two things wrong with the movie: 1)Nicole Alonso had better no bra worn under her tank top. 2)Maybe the movie should have a different ending.8000$ budget ?! Awesome job !
Paige Chaplin (rickyslittlehorror) I've seen a lot of good publicity for this movie, and when I saw it was on the horror channel a while ago, I decided to record it and give it a go. I mean, when all I've seen are really good reviews for it, what's the harm in giving it a go?I have to say - I regretted this decision. Now, don't get me wrong. I understood what the movie was trying to do, I understood, I really did. But after seeing Oklahoma Ward and Nicole Alonso publicising this moving up to a 10/10 (of course, I knew this was publicity – I assumed the movie would be a 6 or 7 out of 10), I was thoroughly disappointed.I felt the plot lagged on, and the whole movie was slow. The opening was exciting, of course, but it took so long for it to get through. The whole premise of the movie wasn't understandable, to me, anyway, and I had to find a synopsis online to actually discover what the movie was about.I appreciate the horror aspects in this movie, but, for me, I didn't find the movie that scary.A woman, crawling through pipes, again and again, is not scary to me. I understand that to some with claustrophobia, it will be scarier, but for me, this movie didn't do much. I ended up online, searching through my list of to-watch horror movies, which probably doesn't bode well. Then again, I'm sure a lot of people will enjoy this movie. It just wasn't for me. I won't be watching this movie again, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it.
Paul Round Just how on earth is this receiving the high marks on IMDb? I can only imagine it's friends and family of the film maker and cast that are writing them because the reviews do not reflect the quality of this film. It's a badly scripted and badly realised mish mash of influences such as Alien, Aliens and The Descent but without any of the things that made those memorable such as a cohesive plot or character development. The characters are so one dimensional as to be non existent and are mostly confined to a couple of sentences along with a grunt or two. The main protagonist is a poor copy of Tank Girl and seems to think that simply curling your lip is an accurate portrayal of being tough. The plot has very big holes and inconsistencies which I don't believe were deliberate but rather that the writer couldn't be bothered to actually be doing with such things and believe that the action would carry it along. That may have been true if the pacing didn't veer from confused to drawn out. This wouldn't work even as a poorly executed video game. The one thing it does do fairly reasonably is a claustrophobic cinematography but this is a one trick pony and wears thin very quickly. If this had been edited down to a 20 minute short it may have had its merits but at its current length this film shows its inadquecies in a woeful manner for all to see. They say imitation is the highest form of flattery but in this case I really would change that to insult. I don't mind no budget films and love experimental, challenging, indie and art house films but this fails on every level leaving the viewer robbed of the time watching this that could have been used more constructively - for example watching paint dry.
