Eaters Audience Reviews

Matrixiole Simple and well acted, it has tension enough to knot the stomach.
Chirphymium It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional
TrueHello Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.
Nicole I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
dnlcorrea I usually take a look here at IMDb before I watch a movie. I knew this one was crap. But hey, there are good bad movies and there are bad bad movies. This one was absolutely a bad bad. The acting is horrible, close to painful, with long shots that don't add nothing. The biker gang was laughable, they tried really hard to look tough, but came out as the Clown Gang. The plot wasn't going great, either. Yeah, yeah, cannibals, we get it.If you have some self-respect, please, get your dog and go to the park. If you watch this, you might kick it instead.
David Roggenkamp I will start by saying, this is probably the worst movie I've seen in ReBox for awhile. Normally when I review movies, I expect to find trash like this from the local video rental store. However, this is not the case. This steaming pile of filth uses an overdose of profanity to show that the characters are quite hostile with each other – I'm actually surprised that the team of friends that are out road tripping can even stand to be around each other the entire way to wherever their destination is. I was impressed by the fact the entirety of the movie has them at each other's throats with insults, not being able to cooperate and otherwise having mixed opinions of how to handle the situation when their lives depend on cooperation to get out alive. So what do they decide to do once they do stop at a local rest stop? Guns come out with a loitering bike group that otherwise has a stash of drugs on the line. They've set themselves up for trouble when they are running low on gas and must pull into an otherwise desolate and abandoned ghost town. Cannibals live in this town and they are suddenly picked off one by one; but not before figuring out where their friend from earlier disappeared to. Flash forward to the biker gang and we get to see some of them picked off by the cannibals also. The cannibals do have some strange ways of living – potato sacks over their head; but they otherwise come off as the typical backwater cannibals that are less than intelligent. The group of friends, as mention, get picked off one by one until only one is left and she is picked up by a random stranger and the movie ends. The acting is bad; scenes tend to take longer than they should or are included when they could have been omitted. The overall flow of the movie is also pretty clunky; too fast in some areas, not enough action in others, and the scenes which are good are overshadowed by the scenes which seem to take forever. I'm pretty certain one of the scenes with them mulling and debating their current situation; took about ten minutes; only it was closeups of their faces in the car while doing so.I do no recommend this movie and I recommend you stay far away.Originally posted to Orion Age (http://www.orionphysics.com/?p=9705).
Gilly Vill I am in a very fortunate situation in my life where every few days I get to see A LOT of bad movies. However, this one takes the cake. So much so that it inspired me to follow steps needed to create an account on this website to warn others of potential loss of 90 good minutes of their life to which they will never get back. The storyline is appealing, just not very well executed. I never had an opportunity to emotionally attach to the character that went missing getting everyone in to this mess in the first place and that's unfortunate because this movie had a lot of things I can get excited about in a movie...huge wooden hammer thing that smashes people, gore, and attractive women just to name a few. However, those things, in my opinion, were not well placed or utilized. I would love to give more insight, but the way the whole thing played out I am left still a little confused as to what just happened in this movie. Typically our movie group ends with a resounding "your welcome" from our leader, even with the worst of movies, but this one left him in silence as well. I will end this review the way the movie ended, suddenly and no soon enough.
David Cromer Low budget movies are one thing, but total lack of acting talent is another. Usually you can find one "actor" that has a modicum of chops, but this is ridiculous. It's as if no one has ever acted a lick. Probably none of them have and they are all friends/relatives of the director. I could've done better and I'm sure I did even in grade school plays.Too many other movies to watch to waste 90 minutes on this train wreck.I would say I've seen worse, but I'm drawing a blank.I will say remember the director's name: Johnny Tabor. That way you can avoid anything else he may have the misfortune of writing and/or directing.
