Soon after, Jessica catches her seemingly friendly new neighbor, Simon, in a strange lie and can't let her suspicions rest. The danger escalates when Simon lures her inside his home and imprisons Jessica in his secret bunker, meticulously decorated in the idealized style of the 1950's.

NekoHomey Purely Joyful Movie!
Frances Chung Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
cmovies-99674 PROS: For starters, this movie knew exactly what it was and it didn't stray from that. There was nothing fancy, nothing creative, however, there was just enough to keep you engaged. The problem I find with horror movies today is that they try to pave their own path instead of making the path they already have more detailed. To further explain why I love this movie, is the fact that the acting was terrific. The whole idea of who the characters were supposed to be had just enough pizazz and just enough stability for you to like and then dislike some of them at the same time. The last thing that I liked was the plot. Everything that made up the movie had its own personality. I liked that KEPT WOMAN followed an idea and gradually grew from upon that idea.CONS: The thing that I would say was most disappointing was the end portion of the movie. The climax of the movie, although very intense, was also quite predictable.www.chorror.com
phd_travel There have been quite a few locked in the basement abductions and kidnappings with Ariel Castro in the news. This is an obvious fictional but neat and slightly glossy version that works well in a TV movie.A young couple Courtney Ford and Andrew Walker flee the city after a break in and move to a suburb. Their neatly dressed, pleasant but slightly eccentric looking neighbor is well played by Shaun Benson. When he decides to keep her in the basement where there is a prettily set up home and another woman, the creepiness is quite well done. Things are kept plausible enough even if the basement is a little too attractive and efficiently done.Lesson: Sometimes the City is safer than the burbs.
kacarrol-772-445447 Not only was this movie believable, it was the best Lifetime movie I'd seen in the last 5 years. I had become so bored with the way the movies have morphed into the same online girl looking for love or adventure, or compromised teachers, or killers so silly that I didn't care what they did just as long as I could turn the channel. This story line was carefully written and pieced together, with great acting, so that it kept be on the edge of my seat throughout. The foreshadowing and clues leading to the climax and ending couldn't have been better. The movie deserves a second viewing to catch every aspect of the suspenseful writing. Wonderful...can't say enough good things about this movie.
zonkerjohn very poor credibility, and bad acting by lead female.credibility: a woman goes into a house of her neighbor who she has suspicions about.her fiancée should have immediately been suspecting foul play by, among other things, the fact that she left he cell phone back.the police should have been more suspicious of her neighbor.I thought she did a horrible acting job, at least when she was first there, as she did not seem nearly as distraught as she should be at the potential of her horrifying fate.it was an intriguing story and did have its moments.
