Don Audience Reviews

Wordiezett So much average
ShangLuda Admirable film.
Zandra The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
Guillelmina The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
nlshchvn In the name of movie making people do some chu***giri. This movie is a perfect example of it. Made for ch****s. Someone saw a lot of Hollywood movies forgot the origin of don & himself. The whole movie is boring with nonsense dialogues NOT funny at all scenes dumb acting by most of the cast & very very poor direction & editing. The ending is somewhat better than the entire film. Apart from that this movie will only irritate you.Like I said before many actors overacted most of the time. script is so poor that I suspect if there was any.If you have seen a lot of movies & have good knowledge on them then stay as far as possible from this disaster.
MovieInspector Lets start with the bad points: 1) The names of the characters are copied from the original 2) Parts of the story are the same as the original 3) Two famous songs copied from the originalThe good points: 1) Shahrukh Khan's performance in a double role was outstanding 2) More twists and turns than the original 3)It keeps you engaged right to the end 4) The music is great 5) Action sequences are goodOverall a good film. A must watch for Shahrukh fans! It is the closest thing to his famous performance in a negative role in Darr since it was released almost 20 years back.Verdict: definitiy watch it - I give it 7.5/10
csingh-2 Probably one of the classiest film even made in Bollywood, Don is a must-see. With spot-on performances, thrilling action sequences and a jaw dropping finale, this movie takes the Indian film industry to another level. Being a remake of the original Amitabh Bachchan starer Don back in the 1970s, the story is pretty much the same. What sets this film apart though are its twists. If you've seen the original Don, the interval will keep you hooked but it's the ending that will knock you out! ... courtesy Farhan Akhtar. All the actors deliver credible performances with a special mention to Boman Irani and of course Shah Rukh Khan. Unlike the other recent action movies, the action sequences in this film are very believable and very real. All in all, one of the smartest, slickest Hindi movies you'll see... Don't miss this one!
laurakis74 I started watching Bollywood movies about a year ago and i must say that i find a great improvement in latest releases (compared to, lets say, movies that are 5 years old or more). Better acting, great camera angles, nice musical acts, interesting plots, and the scripts are waaaay better than before. Just to say that my husband LOVED this movie and also Om Shanti Om. Thats a lot to say because he is usually hypercritical and doesn't like Bollywood movies at all. Shahrukh is a better actor everyday. This performance was absolutely convincing, even if he has a double role as Vijay/Don, which are quite different characters. And nice fighting scenes. I didn't think i would see kung-fu fighting in a Bollywood movie. I sincerely hope we have more Bollywood releases in Argentina. They release only a few titles that go directly to DVD and are hard to find. Last movie to show in movie theaters was Lagaan.
