Nurse 3-D Audience Reviews

AniInterview Sorry, this movie sucks
Dirtylogy It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.
Adeel Hail Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.
Deanna There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
lorcan-61881 Nurse,in some places, like Blu Ray,3D is a 2013 horror film that I've never seen before and when I heard about it,I had to watch it. The film follows actress Paz De La Huerta as Gabby,a nurse who's clean, free, gentle and nice personality lures men in to the night where she kills them, and runs away and when a new nurse, played by Katrina Bowden, has a sexual encounter with her,she begins to suspect shes the cause of all the crimes in the city and also, the causer of her stepfather's death. Going in to this film,I did'int expect much and what did I get..what I expected. Nurse 3D could be possibly one of the most boring horror films ever made,it had no reason to be played and Paz De La Huerta was one of the most awful performances I've ever seen, she takes like one minute to finish a whole sentence,Katrina Bowden though did give a fresh performance, the best part of the whole film was probably the big showdown at the end,I wont spoil but it was very very awesome and cool. Nurse, though,is a boring film that I advise you not to see and maybe just check out the ending on YouTube
Char NZ I found the first hour of this movie a quirky and erotic thriller. Abby, the main character, is odd and has this purposeful awkwardness that Paz de la Huerta plays well. Google her name in images and you will find that she probably didn't have difficulties preparing for this part. Was there some gore in this first hour? It was quite soft and quite disappointing. However, the last 20mins is when it all picked up for me. I was reminded of Carrie for some strange reason, in addition to Melinda May from S.H.I.E.L.D and Morticia Addams.I don't have much to say about the other actors because, for me, they were just supporting roles, including her 'interest' Danni (Katrina Bowden). I also found those actors to have very rigid, stereo- typical characteristics that were too flat for my liking. I think the trick to watching this movie is to have some patience.
Gravedigger41 It took me long enough to watch this movie and after all i shouldn't have watched it at all. Plot was fine, i knew what I was going to see but...Paz De La Huerta. GOD. A rock can act better than her. She was supposedly the hot nurse and all, I'll skip the fact that she's ugly AF , and looks like a transgender, that's a personal opinion, but her acting is awful. I mean did they cast her for this role? Who was she competing against for it? Why is she talking like that? She acts like she's drunk or has mental issues. That's the real issue here, another actress could have saved it a bit. Just like Katrina Bowden did, and that's what the 2nd star is for.
amesmonde Abby Russell is a dedicated nurse, but by night she kills cheating men. Things go awry for the perfect murderer when she becomes infatuated with a one night stand. Reminiscent of American Psycho and what could have been a more fitting sequel than American Psycho 2 it's well shot by director Doug Aarniokoski with wit and campy coolness as Abby (Paz de la Huerta) murders cheating men and obsesses over co-worker Danni played with finesse by Katrina Bowden. Writer David Loughery successfully takes a leaf from of Single White Female. Aarniokoski embraces its B-movie trashiness yet still manages to highlight the dangers of date rape drugs and non-consensual sex and internet photos. It's not DTV material, it's filmatic and looks modestly budgeted with good production values. There's a fitting noir voice over from De la Huerta who also offers a great performance. The effects are great, there's a high body count and plenty of gruesome fun to enjoy.Yes there's naked flesh on display but this should not to be labelled as a gratuitous lurid exploitation flick and although the title is somewhat misleading, Nurse is ridiculously compulsive, horrific and sexy from start to finish with a memorable crazy central character played excellently. Certainly a horror worth checking out.
